You may be able to walk to and from a few places closer to the city centre, but it’s not recommended to depend on walking or biking for daily activities in Miramichi. If you don’t have your own car, Miramichi Transit provides a flexible bus schedule you can refer to if you need to go somewhere. With multiple lines to choose from, as well as a Saturday Late Night bus service, you should have no trouble making your way around Miramichi. Need to fly out of the province or even the country? This park is only a 30-minute drive from Miramichi, so it’s the perfect day trip.

- Another great way to experience New Brunswick’s natural beauty is by visiting The Irving Eco-Centre. Only about an hour from Miramichi, this is where you can spend time in the forest learning more about ecotourism as well as nature itself!
